Welcome, March! Spring is already here on the Côte d’Azur, starting with warm weather, sunny days and hot new beauty trends! Allure Makeup presents you Top 5 Makeup Trends to try out this season:
Every year we see a new variation upon “natural” beauty. Neutral makeup can be defined more as a non-trend than a trend, as it’s all about concealing flaws and defining features. To get this flawless fresh look, choose nude and light colors like beige, pale pinks, greens, gold, bronze, to beautifully sculp your features. (or just get inspired by Victoria’s Secret Show makeup tutorials).

First, I have to mention that they must be NATURAL (so forget about geometrical black crayoned brows!!!). As I said before, in this article about How To Grow Your Brows Fast, shaped eyebrows are woman’s number one accessory these days. First step and most important is to remember not to over teweeze, wax or thread because you’ll never own a full brow like Cara! A good thick pair of eyebrows really frames your face and opens your eyes.
FACT: thick eyebrows make a face look younger
It’s time to bring back the 60’s doll-like look! You can easily achieve full lashes by double coating your eyelashes with mascara (if you’re blessed by mother nature and you have long natural lashes) or using fake ones! Also, eyelash extensions trend called my attention recently; I really like the natural effect of long curly lashes and the fact that it’s a long-term alternative of the classic faux lash.
FACT: However you want to try this beauty trend, long lashes will open your eye look by giving the “lift” you need. A must try trend, indeed. Let the eye batting begin!
The iconic cat eye is still on trend this year and is not going to disappear anytime soon! I’m sure most of you are familiar with wearing black eyeliner. But this season you can try something new with this look by going all out. You can try different shapes that suit your eye and play with the length of the line!
Back in 2012, I thought that 90’s Brown Lips have returned when I saw photos of Camilla Belle and Rihanna rocking this trend on the red carpet. But it wasn’t as strong as it is RIGHT NOW in 2015 thanks to famous Kylie Jenner (the little Kardashian sister)! Just as everyone is talking lately, she recreated the 90’s inspired lips in a fresh, fashionable way going for a rosy-brown hue. I think it looks best for big lips, so don’t hesitate to out line your lips and fill them with a matte lipstick.

Have a wonderful warm spring! 🙂 xx
